This morning we drove about 40 minutes North of home to find acres and acres and acres and acres and acres of cattle, horses, fields and BLUEBERRIES! Each of the kids got a bucket and off we went! We picked (and ate) for about 30 minutes. After we were hot and sweaty we paid our $11 and went home - by way of SONIC - and had a great morning/early afternoon!
We'll be back next week for blackberries!

OH, I am SOOOO jealous!!! I love berries - any kind of berries! We put them together in a bowl and call it "Berry Salad" - YUM! I would LOVE to go pick them - what a fun thing to do! ENJOY!!!
Wow, you sure have made up for not blogging for a month!! it's so fun to read about all your summer adventures ... and you are SO TAN. looking just like that summer in Cinco Saltos!!
I am also jealous. I buy blueberries by the pound from costo and they seem good to me. Can't imagine what it would be like picking them fresh.
Somehow when I think of blueberries I think of New Hampshire, not Dallas. Who Knew.
Gonna miss you guys. But thanks for letting Glenn come.
We've always talked about going to pick berries but never have. We'd love to caravan with you next time you go!
